Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how adbyad collects and uses your personal data when you visit adbyad.co.uk, book a call, fill in one of our forms (including LinkedIn lead forms) or email us. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
adbyad is the trading name of ADBYAD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, based in London. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
Contact: adrian@adbyad.co.uk
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and job title, through a LinkedIn lead form, our Calendly booking page or by email.
- Information about your business that you choose to share, such as your website, goals and advertising budget.
- Call details, such as the time of your booked call and any notes taken during it.
- Basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) that is processed automatically by the services that run this website.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free intro call.
- To follow up after the call about working together.
- To provide our services if you become a client.
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations.
We will not sell your data, and we will not add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Our legal basis
We use your data because you asked us to contact you or book a call (steps before entering a contract), because we have a legitimate interest in following up on business enquiries, or because the law requires us to keep certain records. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with the services we use to run the business, which process it on our behalf or under their own privacy policies:
- LinkedIn, which collects lead form details.
- Calendly, which runs call bookings. The booking calendar on our site is provided by Calendly and may use its own cookies.
- Google, for email, calendar, video calls (Google Meet) and the fonts used on this site.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we keep your enquiry details for up to 2 years, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards, for legal and accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct it or delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- transfer it to you or another organisation
Email adrian@adbyad.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
